GREAT CENTRAL RAILWAY - Winter Steam Gala - 26-28 January 2024

Three day Winter Gala.

Welcomed to the Great Central Railway and their Winmter Steam Gala at the begiining of the 2024 season.

They were delighted to welcomE two special guest locomotives for the even. with BR STANDARD CLASS 4 75069. Fund and the Severn Valley Railway and the LANCASHIRE & YORKSHIRE RAILWAY A CLASS 52322, appearing coutertesy of Andy Booth, which appeared alongside their home fleet.

In addition to their steam locomtoive lineup they were pleased to present two unique railcars; NER 1903 ELECTRIC AUTOCAR 3170 (appearing courtersy of the NER 1903 Electric autocar Trust). and Derby Lightweight M79900 "Iris" (appearing of the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway.
